Your narrator's loneliness is convincing and the twist at the end is good. You raise a lot of questions over the 'imaginary' friend but a touch of mystery can be a positive.
I hope things improve for both of you, and soon. It must've taken courage to share this.
Nice twist at the end.
I hope this doesn't seem patronising but there's still time for you to find someone, still time for new experiences including a passion you never felt before. In the past, people sometimes rushed into marriage young because the average lifespan was shorter then than now. Today the average person has more time to wait, and to look around before settling down. Don't let anyone pressure you into a commitment if you're not sure.
I hope things work out for you BAMBI. Treatments for cancer have advanced over the last few decades and more people come through it than before. I hope it won't go that far but if it does remember that.
You wrote 'lung' when I think you meant 'lungs' plural but this is still a vivid, hard hitting piece. Well done.
Well said, and good to see it coming from a teenager.
This is a plausible, evocative story. Thanks for sharing it.
