Now for a real review, if brief. The writing is very flowry, and poetic, and beautiful despite a few grammatical errors. The idea is really captivating, and I really like the part about the paw prints.

I lean more toward it being..... A curse with possibilities.

I like this. You better make this a little more happy in the next chapter, because, while I do like sad things, this character needs some joy in her life.
